Apple Education Pricing (June - September)
Apple hosts a summer-long sale that ends right as the school year begins. It's available to college students, and their parents, faculty, staff, and homeschool educators. Shoppers can save up to $150, plus 3% cash back with Apple Card.

Prime Day (July)
Prime Day is Amazon's exclusive event for its Prime Members. The sale runs for 48-hours in July and offers discounts on a range of items including furniture, gadgets, apparel, groceries, and more. Shoppers can save an additional 5% with a cash back Amazon card.

Massachusetts Tax-Free Weekend (August)
The state of Massachusetts gets rid of sale taxes for two days towards the end of summer. Historically, residents would travel to New Hampshire (the only New England State with no sales tax) to purchase big ticket items. With a tax-free weekend, shoppers can skip the long drive, and find deals locally. There are some exceptions. For example, purchases must be for personal (non-business) use and only the first $2,500 of a single non-clothing item is tax-free.

End-Of-Summer Sales (August)
Many in-person stores host end-of-summer sales to get rid of items. Some shoppers like to stock up in preparation for the following year. For example, they'll buy tops one size bigger, so that they perfectly fit their growing little ones. This approach could mean missing out on next year's designs and trends.

If you missed any of these events, don't worry. Most retailers follow American holidays. For example, Black Friday sales are in November and end-of-the-year sales are in December.
