Our 7 Year Old Shot And Edited This Brelfie

As a budding photographer, our 7 year old has been snapping her little heart out.

A year after our brelfie was taken, I asked her why she chose the edits she did.

She told me, she adjusted the filter because she “liked the tan.” Then she added two yellow stars in the corners because “you and [baby] are stars.”

I usually take my own brelfies.

We were also photographed by a local photographer for one of Boston’s Black Breastfeeding Weeks.

But this brelfie, shot and edited by our 7 year old, definitely holds a special place in my heart.
