Feather family is a bird role-play game on Roblox. It was created by ShinyGriffin on January 24, 2018. The goal is to explore the world as a bird. There are 11 standard species to choose from including sparrows, chickens, quails, pheasants, and swans. Players can also unlock over 60 other species including chickadees, parakeets, hummingbirds, and more. Some birds naturally unlock over time, others you can purchase with feathers.
Feathers are the currency in the game. Players earn 10 feathers every 2 minutes of active play. If the game is idle, players earn half the feathers (5) in the same amount of time. It takes about 20 minutes of active game play to earn 100 feathers. The most expensive birds are the Skeleton (a featherless bird) and the Dromaeosaur (a dinosaur bird). Both are worth 3,000 feathers, which equals 10 hours of game play. The least expensive is the Swallow at 10 feathers.
Feather Family also has five game passes ranging from 300 to 600 Robux. The most expensive game passes are both 600 Robux. They include the Griffin (a lion-eagle hybrid) and the Peryton (a deer-owl hybrid). When players unlock the birds they also get access to the birds entire life cycle from hatchling to adult, plus skins.
How To Play Feather Family?
At the start of Feather Family players are prompted to choose an egg or bird. If an egg is chosen, players can start as an oval, round, long, or pointy egg. If a bird is chosen, players can start the game as a hatchling or an adult. Then players are able to customize the eyes, beak, head, chest, body, wings, legs, and tail. Players can also give their bird a name, special markings, and cool textures.

What Does VIB mean in Feather Family?
VIB is one of the game passes in Feather Family. It stands for Very Important Bird and costs 300 Robux. With this game pass, players are able to host role-play servers, unlock textures and aura effects, color nests and flock bases, and play music with custom audio IDs.

For example, the Jay used to be 10 feathers, but is now free. Also the Skeleton used to not be able to fly, but that changed with an update.
