Mother Nature beautifully reminds us to pay attention to the details. This month we noticed...

  • white butterflies visiting a local garden

  • dogwood leaves turning yellow, then brown, and carpeting the playground floor

  • yellowjackets (or german wasps) trying to enter our daughter's sweet drink

  • mosquitos leaving their mark

  • rose bushes still blooming

  • the warm sun shining bright well into the afternoon

Our favorite way to identify insects and plants is by snapping a picture and using Google lens.
