First Day Hike is an annual event that happens across America in all 50 states!! Join Massachusetts' DCR (Department of Conservation and Recreation) on a hike through the Blue Hills Reservation. Event activities start at 11:00am and hikes start at 12:00pm. Activities include a wildlife demo and a warm outdoor fire.

You can choose between an easy and moderate hike for 1 or 2 hours. There's also a self-guided tour too. Remember to dress warm with multiple layers, wear sturdy hiking boots, and consider bringing a water bottle.
