Boston Centers for Youth and Families (BCYF) manages 30 community centers throughout the city. Below are the 2024 events thus far. All of them are free, but may require registration.

Halloween Skate Party Fri, 10/25/24, 6:00pm - 8:00pm 1 Worrell St, Dorchester | Enjoy a skate party in Leahy Holloran's cafeteria! Helmets are required. Skates are limited, so you can also bring your own. For ages 8 - 12. |
Spooky Science Workshop Sat, 10/26/24, 1:30pm - 3:30pm 1 Worrell St, Dorchester | Make glow-in-the dark slime and other halloween-themed fun at the Leahy Holloran Community Center! For ages 5 - 8. |

Gallivan Halloween Party Thursday, 10/31/24, 4:30pm - 7:00pm 61 Woodruff Way, Mattapan | Visit BCYF Gallivan for games, music, tricks and treats. For ages 5- 13. |
Perkins Trails for Treats Halloween Thur, 10/31/24, 3:00pm - 7:30pm 155 Talbot Ave, Dorchester | Get dressed for a costume contest with music and more! Activities start at 3pm. The trail kicks off at 5pm. For ages 2 + up. |
Shelburne Halloween Candy Bags Giveaway Thur, 10/31/24, 4:00pm - 7:30pm 2730 Washington St, Roxbury | Staff will be giving away candy to neighborhood kids. For ages 6 - 12. |
Trick or Treat at BCYF Charlestown Thur, 10/31/24, 4:00pm - 6:00pm 255 Medford St, Charlestown | The front of the community center will have spooky tunes, goodie bags, and program information. |

Ohrenberger Halloween Costume Party Thur, 10/31/24, 5:00pm - 8:00pm 175 West Boundary Road, West Roxbury | This year the Ohrenberger is offering a cash prize for the best original costume. Staff is encouraging families to make a costume with whatever they have at home. For ages 8 to 17. |
Quincy Halloween Arts & Craft Thur, 10/31/24, 5:00pm - 6:30pm 885 Washington St, Chinatown | Stop by for candy, jewelry painting, gimp-making and more. |
